電動直昇機當道年頭,雷虎科技也沒缺席過,但自今年(2013)1月底德國紐倫堡玩具展公開展示翼手龍E700(以下簡稱E700)這架700mm主旋翼電動直昇機的原型機體後,其新鮮味道可說全然湧上。為什麼會這樣說呢?因為E700不是單純從現有機種改款而成,所以有其新鮮度,另外是體型架構較同級距略小的規劃,埋藏了動力負載較輕的潛能,這對講究暴力3D飛行顯然是一項利多。

而事實上,當Nick
Maxwell於5月初在其個人You Tube頻道上放送了一支名為「Raptor
E700 Teaser with Nick Maxwell」的E700全球首發飛行影片之後,其暴力飛行狀態幾達瞬間移動的驚人境界(不信的話,可以點擊以上的影片連結前往觀賞)。而且影片中所使用的無刷馬達僅僅只是出力4600瓦的Scorpion HKIII-4035-500KV,而不是玩家所猜測的Scorpion HK-45XX系列萬瓦馬達。(如果可以使用萬瓦馬達飛行的話,那場面會是…天啊!)

4600W Scorpion
HKIII-4035-500KV is installed in that video. Not Scorpion HK-45XX series high watts motor.
由於E700的機身寬度較窄,因此空間不足容納外徑尺寸較大的馬達,例如前述的HK-45XX系列萬瓦馬達都無法安裝。不過各位也不用感到遺憾,因為不久前Scorpion發佈了HKII-4235-520KV Nick Maxwell版本上市的消息。這顆性能數據達9600瓦的新動力安裝在E700身上,哇!不禁讓人興奮起來。還有,HKII-4235-520KV Nick
Maxwell的訂價也僅是300美元不到,這比萬瓦馬達的消費都要便宜不少。
Fuselage

Nick Maxwell, this 9600 watts motor is capable for E700. And price for
HKII-4235-520KV Nick Maxwell is less than USD300-, it is very in-expensive than
high watts motors.
說了半天,那麼主角-E700的價格呢?稍早前美國市場已經出現699.99美元的報價,而台灣市場這邊的參考售價為NT.26000元。若依照台灣市場銷售慣例打個折扣的話,最終玩家到手價格應該和美國市場不相上下。至於這個定價策略若拿來比較雷虎科技過去的手法,則E700顯然是定價相當低廉!(老闆想要放手一搏了嗎?)另外,台灣市場的上市時間目前暫訂2013年8月中旬。
Price for E700 is around USD699.99
in US market, and NTD26000 for Taiwan market. Its price is very competitive and
in expensive (than other Thunder Tiger products).

Most
mid and small parts of fuselage are in this box. Including manuals, tools, side
plates of fuselage…etc. Every bag of parts is labeled with A, B, C… for better
identifying.
▲尾前驅動齒與尾驅動齒一樣都是採用尼龍螺旋傘齒。
Tail
drive gears are made of nylon material.
▲機身採用4片高強度2mm碳纖維側板組成。上、下側板的分層組合設計,針對嚴重摔機時較易損傷的下側板,讓玩家以最低的花費做局部更換修,同時保持上側版部份也可以省下重新對電裝佈線的施工時間。
Fuselage
is constructed with four 2mm carbon fiber plates. Separated design of upper and
lower plates will reduce the cost of repairing after crash. And it will also
benefit for re-wiring the layout of electrics components.
▲主齒盤採用高負載輕量化人字型128T齒盤,這是雷虎科技首次採用的齒輪機構方式,而其厚度為14mm。
Main
gear is light-weighted Herringbone gear, 128T, can withstand high load. It is introduced in Thunder Tiger products for the first
time. Its thickness is 14mm.
